Invisible Photographer Asia (IPA) is excited to announce the Hong Kong x Singapore (HK/SG) Photobook Exchange, scheduled for 1st–2nd April 2017.
April 2017 is gearing up to be a busy eventful month for us. The exhibition of WMA Masters Awards finalists for their latest theme “Mobility” opens in Hong Kong, along with the anticipated final judging and announcement of the winners. Odessa/Batumi Photo Days Festival, of which I am the curator of their main open call exhibition, also opens in Odessa, Ukraine. We’ve managed to fit one more event in.
Invisible Photographer Asia (IPA) is excited to announce the Hong Kong x Singapore (HK/SG) Photobook Exchange, scheduled for 1st–2nd April 2017. The 2 day event is another special co-presentation with our partners Objectifs Centre for Photography and Film and also a partner event of The First Draft Exhibition by THEBOOKSHOW. HK/SG Photobook Exchange is an extension of our efforts to further dialogue, development and appreciation of photography and publishing practice in Singapore and the region.
The program includes:
- Hong Kong Photobook Exhibition and Fair.
- Artist Talks by visiting Hong Kong artists: Chan Dick (Chai Wan Firestation), Doreen Chan (_, _, _, _,) and Paul Yeung (Yes Madam, Sorry Ah Sir).
- Hong Kong Photography Slideshow Presentation featuring Alfred Ko, Chan Dick, Doreen Chan, Ducky Tse, Dustin Shum, Johnny Gin, Lam Yik Fei, Lau Chi Chung, Lau Wai, Paul Yeung, Sheung Yiu, South Ho, Terry Ng, and Wong Kan Tai.
- Panel Discussion and Forum between Singapore and Hong Kong artists on Bookmaking and Publishing.
