Prep your projects and get your edits ready. These are the submission details for the four categories in the Invisible Photographer Asia Awards 2018. Call for submissions open in March and will be free to enter.
DOCUMENTARY AWARD
The Documentary Award is open to submissions of projects by practitioners in Asia who use photography to document and investigate contemporary social issues.
Submission requirements: 10 sequenced images along with project statement and captions.
ART AWARD
The Art Award is an open category for submissions of projects by practitioners in Asia who use photography as a medium for artistic expression.
Submission requirements: 5–10 images along with project statement and captions.
PHOTOBOOK AWARD
The Photobook Award is open to submissions of photobooks in all genres. Submissions of published, artist books or book dummies made in Asia are accepted.
Submission requirements: 1 hard copy of book publication, along with publication details (form).
YOUNG PORTFOLIO AWARD
The Young Portfolio Award aims to encourage young talent in Asia and is open to submissions of portfolios in all genres by practitioners under the age of 35.
Submission requirements: 20 images from 1 or 2 projects, along with project statements and captions.
