Pushing the prison-like iron gate, a boy came out of the ward. He showed me his disfigured arms while placing his head on my tummy. He seemed to be contented. During the Vietnam War, the U.S. military sprayed herbicides in order to defoliate forested land and deprive guerrillas of cover.
