What is Street Photography?

In brief, we refer to Street Photography as an observation by means of a camera of daily public life, where the muse of the observer is, most often, the common man and his environment. It is documentary-like in method where the scene and subjects are photographed candid and un-staged. Street Photography, at it’s best, are like Haikus – concise and poetic descriptions of everyday occurrences. Want more information and references? 1. Competition deadline: “1st June 2012 at 12 AM (UTC/GMT +8 hours).
This is slightly unclear to us non-english speaking people(!)…  Does this mean the deadline is at the start of June 1st or the end of June 1st?
    Thanks!

  3. Hi I don’t have a website, or a url, or a blog. All I have is an email address. Also you can find me in Facebook and flickr. I have noticed that contests always ask for a website or a url.  So can I still enter the contest? I hope you can answer this question before the deadline. Thank you very much.

  8. The age of the images is limited to 24 months in the description text, but the rules do not reflect that. What is the reference date for calculating the date back to 24 months maximum? For example, I have an image from March 27, 2010. Is this still within the limit?
