State Land

Hidden from sight, small private plots of gardens and plantations have been secretly created in the state-owned forested grounds of Singapore. Camouflaged by the thick foliage that surrounds them, their existence is alluded to only by the hear-say of individuals emerging from deep within, carrying pots and plants. Stateland documents these mysterious spaces that have sprung up across the island, questioning their existence and the purpose they serve.
