Awards 2013 Submission (Now Closed)

The Street Photography Asia Award is calling for submissions of the finest street photography practiced in Asia. Submissions will require an edit of Five (5) photographs that best represent the photographer’s body of work and/or sensibilities. The 5 images can be individual singles or part of a series.
Eligibility
This award category is open and free to enter for photographers of any level, based in Asia for an extended period of time. Photographs must be taken in Asia within the last 24 months i.e. from 2011–2013.

Street Photography Asia Award Submission
1. Please prepare Five (5) photographs for submission. Each image should be saved in the JPEG format with a medium to high quality, and at least 3,000 pixels in length. Sequence and name your image files this way: photographername_imagenumber.jpg (eg. Joelee_01.jpg, Joelee_02.jpg ). Please include Title/Caption details in the metadata of the image files.

with subject header “IPA STREET PHOTOGRAPHY ASIA AWARD ENTRY”.

The Photo Essay Asia Award is calling for submissions of photographic essays exploring social, economic or political issues in Asia by photographers based in Asia. Submissions will require an edit of Fifteen (15) sequenced photographs along with Essay Synopsis (2,000 characters or less) and captions per photograph.
Eligibility
This award category is open and free to enter for photographers of any level, based in Asia for an extended period of time. Photo Essays must comprise mostly photographs taken within the last 24 months i.e. from 2011–2013.

1. Please prepare Fifteen (15) photographs for submission. Each image should be saved in the JPEG format with a medium to high quality, and at least 3,000 pixels in length. Sequence and name your image files this way: Essaytitle_imagenumber.jpg (eg. Powerstory_01.jpg, Powerstory_02.jpg ). Please include Title/Caption details in the metadata of the image files.

The Photo Book Asia Award is calling for submissions of photo books exploring themes and topics in Asia. The Award will accept only hard copy book submissions of the following: 1) Photo Books in distribution with/without ISBN number; 2) Exhibition Catalogues in distribution with/without ISBN number; and 3) Artist Books in distribution or unique, one-off editions. This Award will comprise of 2 sub-category prizes: Photo Book (Published) and Photo Book (Unique Edition).
Eligibility
This award category is open and free to enter for photographers of any level, based in Asia for an extended period of time, no less than 6 months. The award is accepting hard copy submissions only.

Photo books submitted for awards consideration will not be returned. You may however, request self-collection from our offices in Singapore at the end of the competition cycle. Final Collection dates will be scheduled after the competition. Contact us should you have any questions.
