Life as a bench

I first found Orchard Road chaotic and confusing to photograph – too many things, too many people. So I decided to look for simplicity. For the past few months, I’ve been observing benches on Orchard Road. I soon discovered a world of its own existed – the benches had personalities, moods and memories. Here are my photographs of life as a bench, in Singapore’s busiest shopping street.
