8th Angkor Photo Festival – Call For Submissions

Created in 2005, the Angkor Photo Festival is the first such event to be organized in Southeast Asia. Each year the weeklong event organizes exhibitions and outdoor slideshows by celebrated and emerging international photographers.

Consistent with the festival’s mission of highlighting emerging Asian photographers, 110 photographers presented their work as part of the 2011 program, including 70 Asian photographers.

The festival’s 2012 program will present works photographed around the world through exhibitions and outdoor slideshows in Siem Reap, with no imposed theme. The program is selected by Françoise Callier, Program Coordinator for the Angkor Photo Festival, and 2 evenings of slideshows will be dedicated to two well-known figures in international photography.

To submit your work for the 2012 program please fill the short form available at: http://bit.ly/apfsubmission2012

For this first stage of selections, there is no restriction for the number of images sent. Please note that we do not accept single image submissions.

The deadline for submitting work is May 31st, 2012. All photographers will receive an answer by the end of July 2012.
