Half a million Malaysians cross the border to work in Singapore. I am one of them and this is a story about my family which I leave behind to put bread on the table.
Each time I return to Kuala Lumpur, we spend some missed family time together writing the story of our lives with photography. Working on this project, I have learnt more of my relationships, of my regrets and hope for the family.

“I have learnt a lot from Kevin during this mentorship program. Kevin is a fantastic mentor – what Kevin does is he challenges and pushes you to the next level. Kevin gives a lot of inputs and ideas for improvements. During the program, I’ve come to see photography in a new perspective.” Home Alone, by Chen Hao Han was made during the IPA Mentorship Program.
