KAUSHAL PARIKH, INDIA
Kaushal Parikh is a travel/documentary/street photographer based in Mumbai India. An ex-banker turned photographer, Kaushal loves to travel, but he prefers to focus his lens on a gritty street rather than an exotic beach. According to him street photography is the most honest and raw genre of photography – it is an accurate a documentation of life.
I waited a while to get this image and it really makes me smile everytime I look at it.
The boy’s connection caught my attention and the surreality of the wire that looks like an extention of the headphones going to the wall completed this image for me
The pregnant woman, the kids and the elderly woman and the old lady complete the cycle of life
Again I was drawn to the potential surreality of the scene. It looks like the guy is on the far bench and he has somehow contorted his legs to fall over the near bench. Only the shoes on the ground give away the truth.
