Portfolio Review Spotlight: Attavee B. Buanitisin

Portfolio Reviews are a wonderful way for me to meet young photographers and discover their world. Another young photographer whose images I found interesting was Bangkok-based Attavee B. Buanitisin, a self-taught amateur photographer. Attavee has been photographing his family for a few years now and intends to do so throughout his life. His photographs of Home ยังไม่เสร็จ allow us an intimate peep at the daily banality and quiet yearnings of middle-class families in Thailand. Describing one picture, Attavee said “This bed was my grandfather’s. He gave it to me. I will eventually give it to my son.”
