We may be wrong, but we don’t recall an incident like this happening in Singapore before so here it is. A 25 year old artist posted stickers and sprayed “My Grandfather Road” graffiti (in this case, Singapore’s grandfather Lee Kuan Yew) all over public spots and roads in Singapore, got caught – naughty tumblr naughty – and now faces up to 3 years’ imprisonment.
We doubt, or at least we sure hope, she doesn’t get 3 years jail – that’d be Uniquely Singapore indeed. The authorities might just ask her to clean her art up and send the press in for photo opps.

do you mind if i share your link on my fb wall?! thanks, Rad
People get less for beating children or rape, I think it’s disgusting that a few stickers could lead to 3 years in prison. Personally I like it, I think it adds color to an otherwise lifeless urban landscape.
